[News] เอาตัวรอดจากแมนชันสุดสยองใน Tormented Souls เตรียมวางขายบน PS5, XBSX|S และ PC 27 ส.ค.

PQube, Dual Effect และ Abstract Digital ได้ร่วมกันประกาศว่า Tormented Souls เกมสยองขวัญเอาตัวรอดที่ได้แรงบันดาลใจจาก Resident Evil และ Silent Hill จะวางจำหน่ายอย่างเป็นทางการ บน PS5, XBSX|S และ Steam ในวันที่ 27 ส.ค. นี้ โดยมีราคาอยู่ที่ $19.99 หรือราว 670 บาท (ราคาโซนไทยยังไม่ระบุ แต่คาดว่าน่าจะ 315 - 389 บาท) ส่วนตัวเกมเวอร์ชัน Switch, XB1 และ PS4 จะตามมาในภายหลัง

นอกจากนี้ทางผู้พัฒนายังได้เปิดให้โหลดเดโมทดลองเล่นฟรีอีกครั้ง ทั้งบน Steam และ PlayStation Store โดยผู้ที่สนใจสามารถเข้าไปโหลดมาเล่นอย่างเมามันได้ที่นี่

เรื่องราวของ Tormented Souls จะเล่าถึง Caroline Walker ที่กำลังตรวจสอบเรื่องราวการหายตัวไปของเด็กหญิงคู่แฝด ใน Winterlake และเจอเรื่องราวสุดสยองขวัญ อาทิ เดินไปในค่ำคืนที่เงียบสงัด เปลือยกายในอ่างอาบน้ำ และถูกติดอยู่กับอุปกรณ์ทางการแพทย์ที่เสื่อมสภาพ Caroline จะต้องต่อสู้เพื่อเอาชีวิตรอดไปพร้อมกับสำรวจแมนชันสยองขวัญที่แปรเปลี่ยนเป็นโรงพยาบาลแห่งนี้

ด้วยการที่ตัวเกมได้แรงบันดาลใจจากเกมสยองขวัญเอาตัวรอดคลาสสิค อาทิ Resident Evil ภาคต้นฉบับ, Silent Hill ไปจนถึง Alone in the Dark ทำให้ตัวเกมใช้มุมกล้องแบบล็อคตายตัว แต่ก็มีการปรับปรุงให้มีความทันสมัย และนำเสนอการควบคุมและมุมกล้องที่มีความไดนามิคมากขึ้น ในขณะที่ยังคงไว้ซึ่งทุกสิ่งทุกอย่างที่ทำให้เกมเหล่านั้นยังคงเป็นที่รักและจดจำของแฟนๆ

It was announced at the launch of Eternal, and was free (on the launch of the extension) for owners of the Deluxe Edition and for people who purchased the Year-One Pass. Both parts were revealed at QuakeCon 2020. Part One got an official teaser trailer and release date on August 27th, 2020. Part One was released on October 20th, 2020. Part Two was scheduled to have an official teaser trailer and release date announcement on March 15th, 2021. The teaser was released as planned, but id Software decided to withdraw information about the release date until the full trailer was released on March 17th, 2021. Both parts have a stand-alone edition.
